Venice

After breakfast we are off to the train station again - destination Venice.  We have to change trains in Milano – the second leg is slower – the train is delayed 30 minutes and then takes an extra 30 minutes to get to Venice.  A water taxi has been arranged and Vania (from the Real Estate) and Mr Andrea, the ‘taxi’ driver, are at the station to meet us.  The apartment, (ignoring the fact that it’s on the 3^rd floor and there’s no lift!) is clean and spacious with two bathrooms – but no English speaking channels on TV at all!  First full day in Venice – lots of shopping and a gondola ride.
