Ottawa - New Year's Day

Ottawa is a very pretty city and we spend the day sightseeing walking to the highest point for a wonderful view across the landscape.  We manage to cover most of the sights of the city and on our return to the Fairmont (you can't beat these hotels) we head for the bar and spend an enjoyable evening sampling cocktails.
