Saturday 6th January
Gordon stays at home with Jordy so Ash and I hit Macy’s where it’s SALE day! Jordan puts on a brave front and they come to meet us at Macy’s but that lasts a nanosecond and she has to return to the hotel. Gordy and I continue to shop – I’m starting to get the hang of it. Gordon buys a ‘Donald Trump’ suit and some Ralph Lauren shirts. We also visit Grand Central Station and the famous Oyster Bar where we dine on an array of oysters washed down with the odd wine. Apparently Central Station was earmarked to be demolished but thankfully Jackie Kennedy stepped in and managed to prevent the destruction of this iconic railway station. We complete the day with dinner in a restaurant in 7th Avenue.
