Boxing Day 2006 - Vancouver "SALE DAY"

Monday 26th Boxing Day
We finally find a little place for breakfast.  Vancouver seems to be a little light on restaurants/cafes.  It’s “SALE” day and there are literally lines everywhere just to get into shops to browse with burley bouncers standing guard.

We venture into “Max Azria” where everything is 50% off. Beautiful clothes and great bargains.   After sorting through the great array of clothes up for grabs, Jordan chooses a little number and we soon discover we have to ‘take a number’ just to get into the dressing room…………..an hour later and a decision to purchase we then discover we must line up again to ‘pay’.  The whole experience takes about three hours.  She better love the dress by the time we get home!  We miss a lot of shops as the lines are just so long to get in the door.  We also soon discover that the price shown on the tag is then subject to GST and PST.
Side bar - the dress has been worn once and NOT for the purpose originally bought!

It's astounding the number of Asians in Vancouver.  Apparently when China reclaimed the rule of Hong Kong, there was a major migration to Canada.

Back to the room for a rest then back out to the shops.  Jordan has lost her ‘phone. :(
Settled on a lovely Italian restaurant – Zefferelli’s ($130)– when looking for a place to eat, look up, not down.  (Girls have had their first warning!)
