Next morning the girls have already caught the early shuttle to the hill – Gordy and I don our gear and follow shortly on the 8.30am bus (they start at 8am).  The shuttle buses leave regularly from the hotel.

We are booked in for ski lessons so after checking in and purchasing our lift tickets (free at the beginner’s level – gear hire is also included however Gordy has already hired boots and skis) we hit the ‘mat’ for our first effort on the slopes.

The girls spend the morning snow boarding and are left feeling very stiff and sore, Gordy has given up on skiing completely and I can’t wait to get back out on the slopes!
