Trip 2006 - 07 Canada, New York, Portugal, Barcelona

Another year has flown by and it's time for holidays!  Yaay!

Sunday 24^th December

After several days of over-indulging in both culinary and alcoholic delights, we were transported out to the airport via maxi-taxi.  The girls came into the lounge with us to fill in time before boarding.  Although ‘coach’ was packed there were only five people in ‘business’, service – needless to say – was sensational. 

We arrived at approximately 5.30am Singapore time and filled in the time prior to boarding by purchasing make-up and perfume.

Flight to Seoul – 5hrs 40 mins – we had to disembark and proceed through customs again.  We have picked up an hour since leaving Singapore so are now only two hours behind Brisbane time.

We depart Seoul on a ten hour flight to Vancouver – picking up a day when we pass the International Date Line – and arrive in Vancouver at about 10.30am.  I, stupidly, took a sleeping pill about 5 hours prior to ETA so was completely non-compos by the time we disembarked.  In a ‘dazed haze’ I waved a hand and hired the biggest limo I’d ever seen!  From there it was a struggle to make my way into a room to sleep it off!
