We ventured across to Ile St-Louis where Gordy finally found a restaurant with Boeuf Bourguignon and it was delicious! Across to the Ile de la Cite, we were going to visit Notre Dame but there was quite a queue and as we have already been there in the past and the weather wasn't great we decided to walk over to the Left Bank. Another stop for a quick drink - we're in Paris after all and the cafes are hard to resist - before heading to Musee d'Orsay for a couple of hours soaking in the amazing beauty of the iconic Impressionists, Post-Impressionists etc - just beautiful.
Back to our room for a quick freshen up then off to La Fontaine Gaillon, a restaurant owned by Gerard Depardieu. It was delicious and I even managed to 'crack a joke' in French to the waiter about the little dachshund that a customer brought to dinner!
