We return our car to the Avis depot, which
is across the road from the train station.
Still have time to spare so we leave our cases at Avis and head to Le
Valentre Pont (built 1308 – 1350). The train ride is five hours 24 minutes, so
quite a journey but a 20 euros cab ride finally delivers us to the Sofitel
Scribe. Beautiful room, complimentary champagne
on ice…. this is going to be a very nice way to spend our last few days.
