NYE at Fermette la Marbeuf was lovely even if expensive as Gordy insisted on buying the best champagne:)
After a slow start (and a very large breakfast) we set off down Ave Montaigne - an avenue with one designer store after another - to the Eiffel Tower. Thankfully we have been to the top in the past as there are huge queues, so we decide to give it a miss today.
Down to Musee de l'Armee, onto Bvd des Invalides. Musee Rodin is closed today, which is a shame as it really is a beautiful experience.
Crossing Pont Alexandre where I ran into "Daniel Craig" :)
Back to the hotel for a little rest. Nothing really open today but the markets are still operating along the Champs Elysees so will go out later for a last 'promenade' along the Avenue.
