We continue down to the main shopping area and check out the usual .... Zara, H&M etc and make a few sneaky purchases. More walking, walking, walking - Valencia really is the most beautiful city. We are booked to go to lunch at La Pepica who reputedly do the best paella in the city. The restaurant reminded me a little of Carmine's in New York - very big, very busy. The paella was tasty but lacking the amount of seafood we would probably use .... GC even told me mine was much better! We then head out to the boardwalk - the beach is really expansive, no waves but beautiful fine sand. Feeling like we have totally overeaten - because we have - we head back to the hotel for a siesta as we are booked to go to Jamon Jamon tonight for tapas - another recommendation. Lovely little restaurant but we now officially own the title of "big fat piggies!'
