34 HOURS door to door! Including the two hour trip from the airport. Business is the only way to go on these long haul trips - even to the point of not having to wait as long in cues. I organised a car through Addison Lee to pick us up at Heathrow. After such a long flight it is so convenient to have somebody waiting to whisk you off in luxury and it's not that much more than a cab. Unfortunately our Friday evening ride took two hours due to heavy traffic.
I have booked into the Montague on the Gardens for a change - usually we stay at the Sofitel on James - it is very nice and definitely more traditional styling. Will be having a quiet drink downstairs and maybe a bite to eat (although you always eat so much on the planes) and then straight to bed!
