Munich - Christmas Eve

This morning we spent a few leisurely hours strolling around the Christmas Markets before heading to the Hofbrauhaus.   The only thing I've bought so far is Christmas decorations!
It's 11am when we enter the beer house and the place is packed!  We finally find a table and I buy a pretzel from one of the frauleins walking around selling them from their baskets.  The mood is joyful and the place is a hive of activity ... we even get treated to some live music by a brass band.
The Markets close today at 2pm.  I have neglected to make a booking for dinner so we have to take a 5pm seating ..... we head back to the hotel, for the last time, too rest up then prepare for our Christmas Eve dinner.  Christmas fare in Europe is very different to what we are used to.
