I organised a car to pick us up this morning through Gettransfer.com and the guy was very efficient, turning up 30 minutes before the allocated time. All good - grabbed coffee at the cafe next door and we are soon on the road to Geneva Airport. Crazy to think that within a half hour we have travelled from France to Switzerland - a bit like travelling from Hendra to Strathpine! The trip only takes less than an hour and we are soon at Geneva Airport .... you must always remember when you travel in Europe that it is sooo much different to travel in Australia. The security lines in airports can go on forever and when you finally make your way through, it is nothing to find yourself walking at least 20 minutes to reach the boarding gate! Be prepared!
Slight delay for our take off but we are finally up and running and soon landing in Sevilla after a very smooth flight. A taxi takes us to the address of the AirBNB and Barbara is already there waiting for us to take us through all the intricacies of the unit which is on the third floor - thankfully there is a lift!
A reconnaissance around town - really easy to get around - down to the gardens, skirting the perimeters and finally stopping at a restaurant for tapas and wine ..... so much cheaper than what we have become accustomed to paying!
