When we came back to our room on Christmas night there was a beautiful Christmas bauble made of chocolate, delicately decorated with gold leaf and when you opened it you discover chocolate truffles....yum!
Boxing Day and after breakfast we are ready to hit the shops! Down Regent, Oxford and New Bond Street ......lots of fab shops but soooo many people! As the day goes on it becomes like a mosh pit and shopping is no longer enjoyable. People are being directed around Selfridges by security guards and lining up to enter Gucci! I'm over it and really haven't bought very much at all.
After taking our few purchases back to the room, we head out again this time to see "Top Hat" at the theatre. I thoroughly enjoyed it....a little too 'old hat' for Gordy.
