Today was a bit of a nothing day. Slow start to the day, I had a car arranged to pick us up at 10.30am to take us to the airport - this time it only took about 45 minutes. After checking in we went to the lounge and it was the usual waiting around till boarding, waiting to get on the plane, waiting to take off .... It was a three hour flight to Helsinki and we picked up a couple of hours on the way so after leaving at 1.30pm we arrive at 6.30pm. The 45 minutes taxi ride was Euros50. The hotel is lovely and right in the middle of town. After sorting the cases we head out for a walk but don't get very far. There is a beautiful restaurant just down the road so more eating and drinking. We are now back in the room but totally exhausted so it's goodnight from me!
